Fire protection officer

As a fire protection officer, WEIGEL provides support in the following tasks:

• establishing fire protection policies and ensuring legal compliance (e.g. alert and fire service schemes, escape and rescue route maps, regulations for hot-work operations etc.),
• training of members of staff to become fire wardens or evacuation wardens,
• instructing members of staff according to the fire protection policy,
• monitoring of the usability of escape and rescue routes,
• identifying fire and explosion risks,
• conducting or taking part in fire protection inspections,
• co-operating with the supervisory authority, the fire service and the fire insurance companies.
